FAQs

Q: When will the stadium reseating take place?

A: Prior to the 2014 season, Davis Wade Stadium seating will be re-assigned in Bulldog Club priority rank order.

Q: Why reseat Davis Wade Stadium?

A: The north end zone expansion provides a unique opportunity to address seating on the east and west side. We expect many seat holders to move into new premium areas and open seats in the east and west grandstands. This will give Bulldog fans the opportunity to consolidate seat blocks and move their seats with friends and family. Reseating will also give those who have been building priority the opportunity to select seats commensurate with their giving to the Bulldog Club.

Q: What do I need to do to remain in my current seats?

A: All areas of the stadium will be reseated. If your current seats are available at your selection time, you may select them.  No one will be guaranteed the opportunity to remain in their current seats.

Q: When will ranks be frozen for the reseating?

A: Tentatively, Bulldog Club priority ranks will be frozen on March 1, 2014 and those ranks will be used to determine the order of seat selection. Bulldog Club members have the opportunity to increase their priority between now and March 1, 2014 in order to select the best seats available.

Q: Will I have to come to the stadium to select my seats like we do in basketball?

A: As we have done with reseating the Hump, we plan on giving the top 2,000 the option to come to the stadium in person or select seats over the phone. Members outside of the top 2,000 will have a designated time during which they can log on the their Dog Tag account and select open seats.

Q: Will I have to log in to my Dog Tag account to select seats if I am outside of the top 2,000?

A: No.  Donors may request to be called by the Bulldog Club during their designated time and select seats by phone.

Q: Will the new seating in the north end zone be a part of the reseating process?

A: Currently, the Bulldog Club is taking deposits for the new premium seats that will be added to the north end zone. After April 1, 2013, donors who have made a deposit will be arranged in priority rank order and will be assigned seats. After April 1, 2013, donors may make deposits on seats first-come, first-served until seats are sold out. If any seats remain open, they will be available for selection during the reseating process.

Q: Will the current suites and Club Seats on the east side be reseated?

A: East side suite holders will have the option to retain their current suite. However, the east side Club Level will be re-seated in priority rank order. Any Bulldog Club member who wishes to move from the main grandstand to the Club Level will be required to make a commitment to the athletic facilities initiative in addition to the annual per seat requirement.

Q: Will the stadium be reseated every year?

A: No. After this reseating, seat locations will remain the same and be renewable for an indefinite period of time.

Q: Can I have my seats assigned with friends and/or family members?

A: Yes. In the event that you would like to have your seats assigned with others, you will have the opportunity to select together based on the person who has the lowest rank in the group. For example, if you have a rank of 1,500 and your friend has a rank of 1,800, you may select seats together at the rank of 1,800.

With the Davis Wade Stadium expansion, it is anticipated that many seat holders will move into the new premium seating areas leaving open seats in the east and west grandstands. Therefore, the Athletic Department feels it is necessary to re-assign seating prior to the 2014 season. Reseating will be conducted in priority rank order to ensure fairness and equity.
